Inventory Control

       The Inventory Control system provides the ability to maintain and
       report information relating to inventory activity, status and
       cost.  This information includes summary totals at the inventory
       item level and detail information on the individual open orders
       which make up the total picture of availability and demand.
       Transactions pertaining to physical counting are accepted.  The
       appropriate records are updated immediately upon the entry of any
       transactions, and audit trails in the form of transaction
       registers and history reports are provided.

       The standard inventory reports have been provided, as well as
       some special formats designed to aid the user in areas such as
       physical inventory and financial reporting.  An inventory inquiry
       function which displays or prints the current status of inventory
       items along with any open orders pertaining to the item is also
       provided.

       The system management portion of Inventory Control also includes
       functions for the recosting and pricing of inventory based on
       historical data in conjunction with parameters entered by the
       user.

       In providing the vehicle for inventory record accuracy, the
       Inventory Control system assists in improving customer service,
       productivity, and profitability while providing the foundation
       for the implementation of advanced production and inventory
       control techniques.
